Fuel Filter: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Relieve fuel system pressure.

Fuel Pump Electrical Connector And Harness (Under Rear Seat):

^ Remove rear seat cushion and disconnect fuel pump electrical connector.
^ Start engine and let it run until it dies
^ Carefully remove fuel hose from fuel filter.

Fuel Filter, Bracket And Hoses:

2. Remove filter and bracket from mounting on transmission case.
3. Remove filter from holding bracket.
4. Install in reverse order.
