Vehicle Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Vehicle Speed Sensor Inspection:
1.
Connect voltmeter between PCME terminal 1P (1M) and ground.
2.
Turn ignition ON.
3.
Remove speedometer cable from transaxle.
4.
Slowly turn cable one turn. Verify that approximately 7V is displayed 4 times.
5.
If not correct, inspect speedometer cable and
speed sensor.
