Cranking Signal: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The PCME uses the "START" signal (engine cranking) in its calculations for controlling these outputs:
^ Fuel injection quantity
^ Cold start injector
^ Fuel pump relay
^ Igniter
^ A/C relay (A/C cut-off)
^ Idle speed control solenoid
^ VICS solenoid

OPERATION
Signal is sent to PCME while engine is cranking.
