Variable Induction Control Valve: Testing and Inspection

VICS Shutter Valve:

CAUTION: Do not adjust shutter valve stopper bolt. It is factory adjusted and should not be tampered with.


1. Remove shutter valve actuator.
2. Verify that shutter valve rotates smoothly.
3. If valve is stuck or rotation is not smooth, check for possible obstructions and clean dynamic chamber and valve shaft.
4. If smooth operation cannot be obtained, replace dynamic chamber. Valve is not replaceable as a separate unit.
