Ignition Lock: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering column upper and lower cover attaching screws, then the steering column covers.
3. Disconnect ignition switch electrical connector.
4. Using a suitable hammer and chisel, tap a groove into steering lock body to column shaft retaining bolts.
5. Using a suitable screwdriver, loosen bolts and remove steering lock assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
