Brake Signal: Description and Operation

^ The Brake On/Off Switch (BOO), mounted on the brake pedal, provides the ECA with a deceleration signal (brake pedal applied) that is factored into calculations for air/fuel ratio adjustments.
^ This switch also functions as the brake lamp on/off switch.
