Automatic Transaxle
Vehicle Speed Sensor:
PURPOSE Provides vehicle speed signal to operate speedometer/odometer. From instrument cluster, speed signal is sent to PCME for calculations requiring this input.
LOCATION On transaxle.
OPERATION Sensor is an alternating current generator. Voltage output varies with vehicle speed.
