Control Module: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the side wall.
3. Disconnect the powertrain control module (transaxle) connector.






4. Remove the bolts shown in the image, and remove the powertrain control module (transaxle).
5. Install the new powertrain control module (transaxle).

Tightening torque: 19-25 N.m (1.9-2.6 kgf.cm, 14-18 ft.lbf)

6. Connect the powertrain control module (transaxle).
7. Install the side wall.
8. Connect the negative battery cable.
