Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure

Fuel in the system remains under high pressure without engine running. Before disconnecting any fuel line, release fuel pressure to reduce personal injury or fire hazard risk.
1. Release fuel system pressure as follows:
a. Start engine, then remove the circuit opening relay connector.
b. After engine stalls, turn ignition switch Off.
c. Install circuit opening relay connector.
