Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

KNOCK SENSOR
Replacement
1. Remove the exhaust manifold insulator and the exhaust manifold.
2. Disconnect the knock sensor connector.
3. Remove the knock sensor.
4. Install the knock sensor in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening Torque: 20-34 Nm (14-25 ft.lb.)

5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for replacement of second knock sensor if necessary.
