Wiggle Test

WIGGLE TEST

NOTE: The wiggle test can be performed with the engine Off or running.

Special Service Tool - Super STAR II Tester:

1. Connect the Super STAR II Tester to the data link connectors.
2. Turn the ignition switch On or start the engine.
3. Depress the "HOLD TEST" button to the "TEST" position then to the "HOLD" position, and again to the "TEST" position.
4. Tap, move, and wiggle the suspected sensor and/or wiring harness. The Super STAR II Tester will beep when a fault is found and a Diagnostic Trouble Code will be stored in memory.
