Technician Safety Information

1. Block drive wheels before beginning any service with vehicle on the ground.
2. Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Use jack stands on a level, hard surface.
3. Always wear appropriate eye protection.
4. To prevent possible burns, use caution when working near catalytic converters. Converter temperatures can exceed 1000°F.
5. Ignition systems present a shock hazard. Exercise caution when performing spark tests. Use non-conductive ignition wire pliers.
