Service Tip:

HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR
RIGHT HAND and LEFT HAND (HO2S RH and LH)
- If the Heated Oxygen Sensor or circuit has an open or short the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)s are output.

- RH Sensor DTC No. 144, 172 or 173 is output.
- LH Sensor DTC No. 136, 137, 139, 176 or 177 is output.

- If the Heated Oxygen Sensor circuit fails, poor fuel economy may occur.
