Idle Speed

Idle Adjustment:

1. Connect jumper wire between data link connector TEN and GND terminals.
2. Connect tachometer to IG- terminal.
3. Check that idle speed is within specification:

IDLE SPEED: 780 - 820 rpm

CAUTION: Throttle adjust screw is factory set and must not be adjusted. Any adjustment will adversely affect engine performance.

4. If idle speed is not within specification, turn air bypass screw to adjust.
5. After adjustment, remove jumper wire.
