Distributor Drive Gear

1. Ensure timing mark of camshaft pulley and white link of timing chain align.
2. Install camshaft pulley onto camshaft dowel pin, then remove securing wire.
3. Install distributor drive gear, new washer and lock bolt.
4. Install tool No. 49E301060, or equivalent, against flywheel or driveplate and tighten lock bolt to specifications.
5. Remove chain adjuster sleeve retaining pin. Ensure pin does not fall.
6. Install service cover, tighten cover attaching bolts and attaching nuts to specifications.
