Compressor Clutch Relay: Testing and Inspection

A/C RELAY AND ADDITIONAL FAN RELAY

Removal / Installation

- Remove and install as shown in the figure.

Inspection

1. Check continuity between terminals 3 and 4.
2. If not as specified, replace the relay.
3. If correct, go to the next step.

4. Apply battery voltage to terminal 1 and ground terminal 2.
Check for continuity between terminals 3 and 4.
5. If not as specified, replace the relay.
