Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

Thermoswitch Removal




1. Remove the cooling unit. See Evaporator Case.

2. Disassemble the cooling unit, and remove the thermoswitch.


Inspection







1. Immerse the sensing bulb in a container of ice water.
2. Check continuity between terminals of the switch as specified.
3. If not as specified, replace the thermoswitch.


Installation
- Install in the reverse order of the removal.
