Front

Front Heater Unit Case

Removal

1. Drain the engine coolant through the radiator.
2. Remove the dashboard. (Refer to Instrument Panel / Service & repair / Dashboard.)





3. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core.





4. Remove the dashboard stay.
5. Remove the heater unit case carefully so that engine coolant does not spill from heater core.

Installation
- Install in the reverse order of removal.




Rear Heater Unit Case

Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.





2. Set the rear heater temperature control knob to the WARM position to open the water valve.
3. Drain the engine coolant.
4. Remove the driver seat.
5. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core.
6. Disconnect the rear heater unit connector.





7. Remove the bolts and the heater unit case.

Installation
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
