Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
Signal PCME when A/C is switched "ON," causing PCME to increase amount of bypass air through the idle speed control valve. This ensures stable idling by compensating for extra engine load created by the A/C compressor.
