Logical Mode Control System Circuit





Inspection
1. Prepare the following parts and tools.
^ Fully charged battery
^ Jumper wire
^ Resistor (1 kOhm)
^ Circuit tester





2. While doing the following voltage tests, connect battery positive voltage to terminal H and terminal G to ground.


Checking REC-FRESH selector switch circuit

Voltage test








1. Connect a 1 kOhm resistor between terminals F and Q.
2. Ground terminal 0; then measure the voltage between terminals G and F.
3. If not as specified, replace the control assembly.


Continuity test








1. Check for continuity between the terminals shown.
2. If not as specified, replace the control assembly.


Checking airflow selector switch circuit

Voltage test 1








1. Connect a 1 kOhm resistor between terminals N and G.
2. Connect a jumper wire between terminals L and G.
3. Measure the voltage between terminals N and G.
4. If not as specified, replace the control assembly.


Voltage test 2








1. Connect a 1 kOhm resistor between terminals M and G.
2. Connect a jumper wire between terminals J and G.
3. Measure the voltage between the terminals M and G.
4. If not as specified, replace the control assembly.


Voltage test 3








1. Connect a 1 kOhm resistor between terminals H and N.
2. Measure the voltage between terminals N and G.
3. If not as specified, replace the control assembly.


Voltage test 4








1. Connect a 1 kOhm resistor between terminals H and M.
2. Measure the voltage between terminals M and G.
3. If not as specified, replace the control assembly.


Continuity test








1. Check for continuity between the terminals shown.
2. If not as specified, replace the control assembly.
