DESCRIPTION





The "HOLD" indicator light may flash and Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 06 may be retrieved on vehicles with resin molded type output speed sensors (revolution sensor). This concern is caused by cracks due to thermal expansion. To prevent thermal cracks, the sensor cover is now stainless steel.

Customers complaining of this concern, should have the vehicle inspected and if necessary, the speed sensor replaced with a modified part.
