EGR Valve Position Sensor: Service and Repair
EGR Valve R&R:
NOTE: Function sensor must be replaced as a unit with the EGR valve.
1.
Disconnect vacuum hose and unplug function sensor connector.
2.
Remove fasteners and lift off valve.
3.
Clean manifold surface.
4.
Fit valve with new gasket. Tighten fasteners to
14 - 18 ft lb (19 - 25 Nm).5.
Connect vacuum hose and plug in function sensor connector.
