Automatic Transaxle

Mass Airflow Sensor:

CAUTION:
^ Do not drop or subject sensor to sharp shocks.
^ Do not insert or allow anything in sensor.

1. Check for sensor damage from contamination.
2. Unplug electrical connector.
3. Install Mazda SST breakout box and adapter (or aftermarket equivalents).
4. Connect voltmeter across breakout box terminals 50 and 9.
5. Measure voltage of terminal B:

Ignition "ON" Engine Stopped: 0V
Engine Idling: 0.6 - 0.7V

5. If not as specified, replace sensor.
