Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Throttle Position Sensor:
1.
Unplug connector from sensor.
2.
Connect ohmmeter between terminals B and C.
3.
Verify that resistance increase is linear according to the throttle valve opening angle.
4.
With throttle fully closed, resistance should be below 1K ohms. At wide open throttle, resistance should be approximately 5K ohms.
5.
If not as specified, adjust sensor.
