Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection
Neutral Switch:
1.
Disconnect the
neutral switch connector.
2.
Check switch continuity with an ohmmeter. With transmission in neutral, there should be continuity between switch terminals. With transmission in gear, there should be no continuity between switch terminals.
3.
Reconnect
neutral switch connector after testing or replacement.
