Vehicle Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection

VEHICLE SPEED PULSE GENERATOR
Inspection
1. Refer to Service and Repair for disconnection of the Vehicle Speed Pulse Generator connector.

Measure Resistance Between The Terminals Of The Sensor:




2. Measure resistance between the terminals of the Vehicle Speed Pulse Generator.
Resistance: 253-6O4 Ohms @ (ATF temperature) -40-16O°C (-4O-32O°F)

3. If not correct, replace the Vehicle Speed Pulse Generator.
4. Refer to Service and Repair for connection of the Vehicle Speed Pulse Generator connector.
