Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure

In order to prevent personal injury and vehicle damage due to fuel spray and the likelihood of fire, fuel system pressure must be relieved prior to servicing any fuel related component. Proceed as follows:
1. Remove rear seat cushion, and disconnect fuel pump connector, then start engine.
2. When engine stalls, place ignition switch in the Off position, then connect fuel pump connector and install seat cushion.
