Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection
Inspection of resistance 1.
Connect an ohmmeter between terminals L and 1.
2.
Measure the resistance while warming up the ATF (driving the vehicle).
3.
Verify that the resistance drops as shown.
4.
Replace the ATF thermosensor and connector wiring as an assembly, if necessary.
