Electronic Brake Control Module: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove trunk side trim and ABS control unit, Fig. 137.

2. Turn ignition switch to the Off position, then connect ABS control unit connector to ABS tester at harness side.
3. If tester does not operate, check the fuse, ignition switch and circuit.
4. Check for an open in wire B from terminal 1D, 1S and AF of the control unit to the O-01 joint connector, Fig. 138.

5. When checking each control unit terminal, use only very thin pins to prevent damage to terminals.
