Fluid - M/T: Testing and Inspection

1. On level ground, jack up the vehicle and support it evenly on safety stands.
2. Remove the transmission cover.
3. Remove the filler plug.
4. Verify that the oil is up to the bottom of the filler plug hole.
5. If the oil level is low, add the specified oil through the filler plug port.
6. Install a new filler plug.

Tightening torque: 25 - 39 N-m (2.5 - 4.0 kgf-m, 19 - 28 ft-lbf)




7. Install the transmission cover.

Tightening torque: 7.9 - 10.7 N-m (80 - 110 kgf-cm, 70 - 95.4 in-lbf)
