Vehicle Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Replacement
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the vehicle speedometer sensor connector.
3. Remove the vehicle speedometer sensor from the extension housing.
4. Apply ATF to a new 0-ring and install it on the vehicle speedometer sensor.
5. Install the new vehicle speedometer sensor.

Tightening Torque: 7.9-10.7 Nm (70-95 in.lb.)

6. Connect the vehicle speedometer sensor connector.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
