EGR Valve: Testing and Inspection
Inspection 1.
Connect a
vacuum pump as shown and apply vacuum.
2.
Verify that the
EGR valve moves at more than the specified vacuum.
Specification: 85-115 mmHg (3.3-.5 inHg) 3.
If not as specified, replace
EGR valve.
