Air Bag Control Module: Service and Repair

Removal/Installation
1. Deactivate the audio antitheft system, if installed.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the driver-side undercover, lower panel, and lap duct.





4. Disconnect the diagnostic module connector and connect the SST to it as shown in the figure.





5. Remove the bolt and nut.
6. Remove the diagnostic module.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
8. Follow the troubleshooting flowchart to verify that the air bag system is operating normally.Testing and Inspection
