Variable Induction Control Valve: Service and Repair

Replacement
1. Remove the VRIS shutter valve in the sequence described below.




(1) VRIS shutter valve actuator
(2) Bracket (for VRIS solenoid valve)
(3) Nuts
(4) VRIS shutter valve and gasket

2. Replace the VRIS shutter valve along with a new gasket.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
