Idle Air Control Valve

NOTE: The idle air control valve is an integral component of the bypass air control (BAC) valve, both components are serviced as a complete assembly.




Inspection
1. Verify that the ignition switch is OFF.
2. Disconnect the idle air control valve connector.
3. Measure the resistance of the idle air control valve by using an ohmmeter.

Specification: 10.7-12.3 ohms 20°C (68°F)

4. If not as specified, replace the BAC valve.
