Clutch Switch: Description and Operation

COMPONENT
Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) switch (M/T only)

FUNCTION
Detects a load on engine. PCM uses load information in mass air flow and fuel calculations.

REMARKS
Uses normally open switch. One volt or less signal input at PCM indicates a reduced engine load. 5 volts signal input at PCM indicates engine load. On A/T model, jumper is connected to connector.
