Crankshaft Position Sensor: Description and Operation

Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor

FUNCTION
Monitors trigger wheel to indicate crankshaft position and speed information to PCM. PCM uses this signal for ignition control.

REMARKS
CKP is a magnetic transducer. CKP is not adjustable.
