Overdrive Switch: Testing and Inspection
O/D OFF SWITCHInspections:
Terminal voltage:
1. Remove the column covers.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Check the voltage between terminal C and a ground.
Remarks B+: Battery positive voltage
4. If not correct, go to the next step.
Continuity:
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Check continuity between terminals A and C.
3. If not correct, replace the gear change knob as an assembly.
