OBD II Drive CycleNOTE: Only perform this procedure when instructed to do so.
1. Start and warm the engine until the engine coolant temperature is over 82°C (180°F).
2. Drive the vehicle or let it idle for four minutes.
3. Stop the vehicle and let it idle for 40 seconds. In D range.
4. Open the throttle 1/4-1/2 and increase the speed to 73 km/h (45 mph) for 10 seconds.
5. Fix the throttle opening and drive the vehicle at 73 km/h (45 mph) for 30 seconds.
6. Stop the vehicle and let it idle for 40 seconds. In D range.
7. Drive the vehicle at 40-64 km/h (25-40 mph) for fifteen minutes while observing the following condition.
a. Stop and idle for 10 seconds at least five times.
b. The throttle opening is 1/4-1/2 when accelerating from idle.
c. Shift between three different speeds while driving at 40-64 km (25-40 mph).
8. Drive the vehicle at 56 km/h (35 mph) for four minutes.
9. Stop the vehicle and let it idle for 30 seconds.
10. Drive the vehicle at 48 km/h (30 mph) for six minutes.
11. Stop the vehicle and let it idle for 30 seconds.
12. Drive the vehicle at a constant speed between 40-48 km/h (25-30 mph) for one minute.
13. Within eight seconds, accelerate to 89-96 km/h (55-60 mph).
14. Drive the vehicle at a constant speed between 89-96 km/h (55-60 mph) for two minutes.
