Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement:

1. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.

Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Testing:

2. Place the sensor in water with a thermometer, and heat the water gradually.
3. Measure the resistance of the sensor by using an ohmmeter.

Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Specifications:

4. If not as specified, replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.

Tightening torque: 16-23 N-m (12-17 ft.lbs.)
