CYLINDER HEADDISTORTION 0.10 mm {0.004 inch} maximum
NOTES:
- Using a straightedge, measure the cylinder head for distortion in the six directions as shown in the accompanying image.
- If the cylinder head distortion exceeds the specification, grind the cylinder head surface.
GRINDING 0.15 mm {0.006 inch} maximum
- If the cylinder head height is not within the specification, replace it.
HEIGHT 125.25 - 125.35 mm {4.932 - 4.935 inch}
- Using a straightedge, measure the manifold contact surface distortion in the six directions as shown.
DISTORTION 0.10 mm {0.004 inch} maximum
- If distortion exceeds the specification, grind the surface or replace the cylinder head.
GRINDING 0.15 mm {0.006 inch}
