Vehicle Certification (VC) Label

The vehicle certification (VC) label contains the manufacturer name, the month and year of manufacture, the certification statement, and the VIN. It also includes gross vehicle weight ratings (GVWR).

Radio Codes
- 7 - AM/FM stereo with clock
- 9 - AM/FM stereo with cassette and clock
- K - AM/FM stereo with cassette, compact disc player and digital sound processing
- Z - AM/FM stereo with compact disc player

Axle Codes
The following lists the gear ratios on axles.
- 84-3.45 non-limited slip
- 86 -3.73 non-limited slip
- 87-4.10 non-limited slip
- 95 -3.55 non-limited slip
- R5 -3.55 limited slip
- 96-3.73 non-limited slip
- R6 - 3.73 limited slip
- F6 -3.73 limited slip
- F7 -4.10 limited slip
- F5 - 3.73 limited slip

Transmission Codes
- M - Five speed manual (M5OD)
- D - Five speed automatic (5R55E)
- T - Four speed automatic (4R44E)

Interior Trim Codes
The following lists the interior trim and interior color codes.

Seat Type Codes (left digit)
- H or 4-Vinyl split bench seat
- E or 3 - Cloth split bench seat
- G or 2 - Cloth split bench seat

Interior Color Codes (right digit)
- X - Medium Prairie Tan
- 2 - Medium Graphite Gray
