Engine Wiring Harness

Removal Note
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.




2. Remove the upper intake manifold.
3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness from the main bulkhead connector.
4. Disconnect the engine wiring harness from the ECT sensor, the water temperature indicator sender unit, the CKP sensor and the camshaft synchronizer.
5. Disconnect the engine wiring harness from the MAF sensor.
6. Disconnect the generator harness.
7. Disconnect the engine wiring harness from the fuel injectors.
8. Disconnect the engine wiring harness from the heated oxygen sensor connectors.
9. Disconnect the engine wiring harness wiring from the oil pressure switch.
10. Disconnect the engine wiring harness from the two transmission harness connectors.
11. Disconnect the engine wiring harness from the PCM.




12. Remove the nut.




13. Remove the stud bolt and the ground strap.
14. Remove the engine wiring harness.

Installation Note
1. Position the engine control sensor wiring.
2. Install the ground strap.
3. Install the nut.

Tightening torque:
4 Nm { 41 kg.cm, 36 in.lb }




4. Connect the engine wiring harness to the PCM.
5. Connect the PCM to the transmission harness connectors.
6. Connect the engine wiring harness to the oil pressure switch.
7. Connect the engine wiring harness to the heated oxygen sensor connectors.
8. Connect the engine wiring harness to the fuel injectors.
9. Connect the generator wiring harness.
10. Connect the engine wiring harness to the MAF sensor.
11. Connect the engine wiring harness to the ECT sensor, the water temperature indicator sender unit, the CKP sensor and camshaft synchronizer.




12. Connect the 42-pin connector.
13. Install the upper intake manifold.
14. Connect the negative battery cable.
