Compressor Cut-Off Relay

1. Apply parking brake and use wheel checks at the front and rear wheels..
2. Start the engine.
3. Turn the A/C switch and fan switch ON.
4. Verify that the A/C compressor magnetic clutch actuates.
- If does not actuate, go to symptom troubleshooting "No.23 A/C does not work sufficiently".




5. Connect the SST (NGS tester) to the DLC-2.
6. Access A/C RLY PID.
7. Apply the foot brake and shift to D range.
8. Verify the A/C RLY PID status in ON.
9. Fully open the throttle valve for short time and verify that the A/C RLY PID changes to OFF.
- If PID does not change, inspect the TP sensor and related circuit.

10. Shift to P position and let the engine idle to cool the ATF.
