Variable Induction Control Actuator: Service and Repair

INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL (IMRC) ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.








2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

IMRC Actuator Cable Removal Note

Caution: Do not remove the IMRC cable bracket from the IMRC housing. Removing the IMRC bracket may cause poor engine running condition because the IMRC shutter valve angle will change.

IMRC Actuator Cable Installation Note
1. Install the IMRC cable through the bottom of the fuel pipes.
