Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Testing and Inspection
1.
Disconnect the ambient temperature sensor connector.
2.
Measure the temperature around the ambient temperature sensor.
3.
Measure the resistance between terminals A and B of the ambient temperature sensor connector (female).

If the resistance is not in the shaded zone indicated in the graph, replace the ambient temperature sensor.
