Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection
TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR INSPECTION [GF4A-EL] 1.
Remove the TFT sensor.
2.
Place the TFT sensor in ATF along with a thermometer as shown, and heat the ATF gradually.
3.
Measure the resistance between the terminals of the TFT sensor.

If not as specified, replace the TFT sensor.
4.
Install the TFT sensor.
