Inspection of Continuity

1. Disconnect the power steering pressure switch connector.




2. Connect an ohmmeter to the power steering pressure switch.
3. Start the engine and let it at idle.




4. Check continuity of the power steering pressure switch while turning steering wheel.
- If not as specified, replace the power steering pressure switch.
- If okay, inspect related harness or connectors.

NOTE: Visually check wire and connector in wiring diagram. It is easier to test from connector than the power steering pressure switch on the power steering oil pump.
