Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect negative battery cable.
2.
Raise the vehicle. See LIFTING.
3.
Disconnect camshaft position (CMP) sensor connector.
4.
Remove the screws.
5.
Remove the CMP sensor.
6.
Install in reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque
5 - 7 N.m { 57 - 71 kgf.cm, 45 - 61 in.lbf }
