Rear Door: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear scuff plate.
3. Remove the rear side trim.




4. Remove in the order indicated below.
1. Rail protector
2. Clip
3. Lower rail guide
4. Sliding door

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.




Rail Protector Removal Note
1. Disengage clip A using a fastener remover.
2. Remove the rail protector.




Clip Removal Note
1. Push the stopper on the clip in using a flathead screwdriver, and move the clip rearward to remove.

Sliding Door Removal Note




1. Slide the sliding door rearward, and remove the lower roller of the sliding door from the lower guide rail of the body.




2. Slide the sliding door forward, and remove the upper roller of the sliding door from the upper guide rail of the body.




3. Slide the sliding door rearward, and remove the center roller of the sliding door from the center guide rail of the body.
